Billing

The billing counter has a schedule of charges for different categories of rooms. Depending on the type of room the patient desires, the required amount must be deposited before getting admitted. Your treating Doctor will give an average estimate of your hospitalization and cost. Your treating Doctor will provide you with an approximate estimate of the cost you might incur during your stay at the hospital. However, the patient's clinical condition shall determine the actual treatment requirements. Such necessities may lead to differences in the treatment cost estimate whenever they arise. To keep yourself updated on the billing and expenses you have incurred until any point, you can request a provisional bill from the Ward Secretary / Billing Department. You can ask your Doctor if you need any clarification regarding expenditures or estimates for further treatment.

An advance deposit is required in case of emergency admission. For planned admission, 100% of the deposit will be made per the estimate given. An Estimate and the final bill charges may vary because of changes in medical treatment/ patients requiring treatment of associated diseases and any unforeseen complications.

During Discharge:

The billing cycle runs from 12 midnight to 12 midnight. If the patient checks out of the room by 12 noon on the day of discharge, there will be no room charges. Half-day room rent will be charged if the patient checks out by 6 p.m. A full day's charge will be applied if the patient checks out after 6 p.m.

Payments are to be made in Advance, and whenever you are notified of an advance deposit, please clear the same.

For any billing problem, please contact the billing desk or finance manager.

When a doctor advises Discharge of the patient, it takes some time to prepare the final bill and discharge slip. As soon as the final bill is ready, you will be called to the Billing Counter. Please bear with us until then.
