Little Ritika’s Fight Against a Brain Tumor – A Story of Hope and Recovery at Tender Palm Hospital

Ritika, a 2-year-old young girl from Hetil village who has faced health problems since childhood, particularly with her breathing. Her father, Jairam Kumar Gupta, sought numerous treatments for her condition, but despite receiving care at local clinics, Ritika's health continued to deteriorate. She was admitted to several hospitals in Gorakhpur and Lucknow, yet her condition was not improved.

In search of a solution, Jairam contacted Tender Palm Hospital and contacted the renowned Neurosurgeon, Dr. Prarthana Saxena. With renewed hope, he took baby Ritika to the hospital.

When Ritika reached Tender Palm, she was completely unconscious, due to which Dr. Prarthana Saxena put her on a ventilator. The MRI scan revealed that Ritika had a large tumour in her brain, almost a quarter of the size of the baby Ritika’s brain. Given the severity of her condition, immediate surgery was necessary.

Dr. Prarthana Saxena and her expert team quickly proceeded with the operation and successfully removed the brain tumor. Following the surgery, Ritika's health improved dramatically; the next day, she began walking, eating, and drinking, quickly returning to an everyday life. The once-weak child is now healthy.

Jairam Kumar Gupta expressed his gratitude to Dr. Prarthana Saxena and her team at Tender Palm Hospital for saving his daughter's life. He praised the hospital for its skill, care, and commitment to helping patients.
