A 13-year-old girl named Shabreen, from Ghazipur, had been facing a health problem for almost three years. It started with a small, painless, hard lump in her neck. Over time, the lump grew into several hard, swollen bumps. For years, local doctors treated her for tuberculosis (TB) without any clear lab tests or proof; because of this, her condition did not get better and actually got worse.

Being extremely careful, the team successfully completed the procedure without harming her voice or causing any problems.

After a successful surgery, Shabreen had radioactive iodine therapy to get rid of any remaining cancer cells in her body. She recovered smoothly after the treatment and went back to her normal daily activities. To keep her thyroid functioning properly, she will lead a healthy lifestyle while taking daily thyroid medication.
